I saw this movie over the weekend. Nice one.

Needless to say Morgan Freeman’s and Jack Nicholson’s acting. The moral of the story, as to end of the all we want in life is happiness and that only family can give that happiness. Sharing things with your loved ones and being with them provide the most happiness in life. Freeman’s comment about the questions asked at the entry of Heaven touched me. Two questions: 1. Did you had happiness in life? 2. Did others had happiness out of your life. Depending on your answers to the above two questions, you entry to heaven will be determined (according to Egyptians). Based on my life, I can tell I had some/most happiness to most part of my life, but for sure I haven’t made anyone very happy because of my life (probably to some extent my parents, but that doesn’t cut the cake I guess). Well, my take as long you are able to take care of yourself, without creating any problem to the society, you are doing your part (leave alone the hell/heaven debate, we will se to it when we die).

Overall excellent movie. We all need a break from our routine and need to address things we really wanted to at some point.  Good one, see if time permits.

Playing by heart

Yet another Sunday. Woke up late, had some leftovers…

“Playing by heart” was going on in a channel. Haven’t quite heard of this movie. But certain dialogues got me on hold, ended watching the whole movie. I liked it…the message that movie conveys, touched me.

It basically dissects everyone’s need in life – Love, that we long for and how its been perceived. Its was quite interesting to see what every character in the movie was looking for in their life and how it gets shaped. Directors touch was good, esp ..to see how all threads relate to one family rein.

Nice movie…didn’t feel like I killed the time.
